Gunged for Ethiopia - HOPE (UK)
Staff and students at Kendal College raise over £600 towards the building of a new school in Ethiopia.
Staff and students at Kendal College in the English Lake District recently voted for three members of their staff to be gunged. The 'winners' of this popular vote were, Craig Owen, and two lecturing staff, Debbie Leppelletier and Zaeed Mohammed, who kindly and bravely took it on the chin - and the face, and the chest, and the arms, and the legs!! The college raised a total of £633.50 for the James Project, a charitable initiative named in memory of the Head of School’s late son. The money raised will go towards the target fund of £5000, which will be used to build a school in one of the Ethiopian villages Hope currently work in.
