WALKING FOR WATER - HOPE (UK)
A Group of South Gloucestershire school children discover how much effort it takes to collect water when it's not on tap.
As part of Eco-week, Charborough Road Primary School in Filton, South Gloucestershire had the chance to find out what it would feel like to walk long distances to collect water. The school field was transformed with pretend snake-infested swamps, a river-bed and sinking sand. The whole school was split into 8 villages and had to help one another walk around the field to collect water and bring it back to their village. The school raised a fantastic £142.15 for Hope.
