Airedale NHS Trust Raises £1400

 This year’s Charity Ball,

held by the Airedale NHS Trust,

raises over £1400 for HOPE Projects

This year’s Charity Ball, held by the Airedale General Hospital NHS Trust West Yorkshire, kindly supported HOPE after Dr. Andy Pettit (husband of HOPE Trustee Kirsty) was asked if he knew of any worthy causes. Unfortunately for Andy, recommending the charity meant having to give the after dinner speech. However, this did give him ample opportunity to plug HOPE and its ongoing work, particularly in Ethiopia – and this obviously had a great impact, as by the end of the evening over £1400 had been raised through a combination of ticket sales, a raffle, and the selling of cow badges.

Several hundred people attended the ball, from all departments of the Airedale NHS Trust, and our deepest thanks go to Angela Gordon and Tracey, who organized the event, and to all those who supported HOPE with their generosity on the evening.
