Do you want to make a difference by enabling HOPE UK to operate and support the fantastic water projects in Ethiopia?
Being a trustee involves governance, direction and oversight of the charity and certain statutory responsibilities, working as part of a team. Amongst other things, trustees take on the following roles:
- Book-keeping and liaison with accountants, plus preparation of financial reports and budget
- Fundraising support including ideas and initiatives, working with our fundraisers
- Governance support, working with the Chair
It is expected that trustees take up position for a three-year term initially, after which, through annual appointment at the AGM, they may serve for as long as they, or the Trustee Board, decides. All HOPE UK trustees are volunteers.
